Solidago caesia, or Bluestem Goldenrod, grows to a height of 2-3 feet and prefers moist, well-drained soils in part sun to shade. Bluestem Goldenrod tolerates poor, dry soils. The clump-forming perennial produces golden flower clusters in September. Bluestem Goldenrod is an incredible butterfly magnet and woodland goldenrod. It is also deer resistant.
