Gentiana flavida, or Cream Gentian, is a 2-3 foot tall native perennial with showy, cream to white blooms appearing in late summer to early fall. Cream Gentian prefers average, medium moist well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. The native plant best in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils with afternoon shade.
