Description
Veronicastrum virginicum, or Culver’s Root, is a 3-5 foot durable perennial with good vertical strength and form that prefers moist to wet soils in full to part sun. Culver’s Root features graceful white flower spikes that appear in mid to late summer. It is an excellent source of nectar and pollen for native bees and is often used in meadows, or borders with asters, goldenrods and ironweeds.
